I graduated Chico State this past May with my BA in Speech Therapy. I thought it would be a good idea to take a year off and work so I then attended Sac State over the summer to get my Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Certificate. However, I didn't take into account that maybe I wouldn't be able to find a job. SLPAs aren't very popular yet so it's tough to find a job as one. Also, I can't get any "grown up" job with the BA that I got. I absolutely have to get my Masters in order to do anything.
So, I am creating this blog because I want a place to put the interesting things I find about Grad Schools and other things that have to do with Speech Therapy. Pinterest is great but I wanted something more. Something I could elaborate on.
Before I get started, I need to say that the stuff I put on here isn't mine and I'm not claiming rights to it. I'll try to give credit where it is due. My boyfriend is in law school so don't try to sue me ;)
